Basketweaving Retreat

An Adirondack Artform

Uncle Kent has been studying the art of Basket Weaving for the last couple years and he is inviting a small group of folks to join him on this retreat where he will share some of his knowledge! This retreat will take place in Chi Rho House where you will spend two days learning the skills and putting them into practice by weaving your very own basket. This year we will be making a lovely Farmer’s Market Basket, perfect for loading all of your homegrown and organic treats. This is just what you need to bring your Thanksgiving feast over the river and through the woods!

Your basket features an oak “D” handle and measures approx. 12” X 10” X 8”

The retreat begins at 4pm on Sunday, November 24 and concludes at 11:00am on Tuesday, November 26.

Simple, nutritious meals will be provided. If you have unique food restrictions, you are encouraged to bring your own food to supplement. There is a refrigerator that can be used if necessary.

The cost is $350 - private room; shared room - $230 (this includes meals, two nights lodging, and materials for your basket)

This retreat is for Adults only.
